Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services of CA Somesh Chandak & Associates ("the Firm"), you agree to
be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may
not access our services.
Services
The Firm provides the following professional services:
- Chartered Accountancy services
- Taxation services (GST, Income Tax, TDS)
- Company Registration and Compliance
- Business Valuation (IBBI Registered)
- Virtual CFO Services
- Zoho Books Implementation
- Bookkeeping and Accounting
Specific scope and fees for each engagement will be agreed upon through a separate engagement
letter or service agreement.
Professional Standards
All services are provided in accordance with:
- Standards issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
- IBBI Valuation Standards for valuation assignments
- Applicable laws and regulations of India
Client Responsibilities
When engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information as required
- Inform us of any changes that may affect our services
- Make payments as per agreed terms
- Maintain confidentiality of any advice or reports provided
- Not misrepresent our services or reports to third parties
Fees and Payment
- Fee quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified
- Fees are exclusive of applicable GST and government fees
- Payment terms will be specified in the engagement letter
- Late payments may attract interest at 1.5% per month
- Services may be suspended for non-payment
Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information in accordance with professional
ethics and applicable laws. We will not disclose your information to third parties except:
- As required by law or regulatory bodies
- For quality reviews by professional bodies
- With your explicit written consent
Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any claim arising from our services shall be limited to the fees charged for
the specific service giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, consequential, or special damages
- Loss of profits, business, or goodwill
- Errors resulting from incorrect information provided by the client
- Changes in laws or regulations after our advice was provided
Intellectual Property
All reports, documents, and materials prepared by us remain our intellectual property until full
payment is received. Upon payment, you receive a license to use such materials for their
intended purpose only.
Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement by providing written notice. Upon termination:
- Outstanding fees become immediately due
- Client documents will be returned after settlement
- Work in progress may be invoiced
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be:
- First attempted to be resolved through mutual discussion
- If unresolved, referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
- Subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Thane, Maharashtra
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be
subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Thane, Maharashtra.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to
this website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified
terms.
