Who we are and the work you will handle

The firm was established in 2022 and is led by its founder, a Fellow Chartered Accountant and IBBI Registered Valuer. Clients are largely MSMEs, startups, exporters and private companies, so the work mix is wide: GST compliance and GST advisory, income-tax filings and notice replies, TDS, ROC and RERA filings, accounting on Zoho Books and Tally, business valuations, and automation of routine practice workflows. Because the practice is founder-led, every team member’s work is reviewed directly by the Chartered Accountant — you learn from live files, not from the sidelines.

1. Article Assistant — CA Articleship (New Scheme)

  • Eligibility: Both groups of CA Intermediate cleared and the four-week ICITSS completed, per ICAI’s New Scheme of Education and Training. Transfer cases are considered strictly as per ICAI regulations.
  • Training period: Two years of practical training registered with ICAI.
  • Exposure: GST returns and 2B reconciliations, ITRs across taxpayer categories, tax audit fieldwork, TDS compliance, ROC filings, accounting finalisation, valuation working papers and drafting of notice replies.
  • Stipend: As per ICAI norms (Regulation 48), reviewed on performance.

2. Qualified Chartered Accountant — Fresher

  • Who it suits: CAs qualified in recent attempts (0–2 years post-qualification) with articleship exposure in taxation and audit.
  • The role: Independent handling of GST and income-tax assignments, finalisation of accounts, tax audit execution, review of ITRs prepared by the team, drafting and arguing positions in notice replies, and direct client coordination.
  • What is different: Structured exposure to business valuations (DCF and Rule 11UA work) and practice automation alongside core tax and audit — areas a first job rarely offers.
  • Remuneration: Commensurate with knowledge and articleship exposure; discussed at the interview.

3. Accounts & Compliance Executive — Semi-Qualified (CA Inter / discontinued CA)

  • Who it suits: CA Inter-passed candidates — one or both groups — including those who have decided not to continue the course. This is a stable, full-time role with a defined growth path, not a stop-gap.
  • The role: Monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconciliations, TDS returns, maintaining books on Zoho Books and Tally, ITRs for individuals and firms, MCA/ROC support and client follow-ups.
  • Preferred: Completed articleship or working experience in a CA office; working knowledge of Excel and any accounting software.
  • Remuneration: Based on experience; discussed at the interview.

Frequently asked questions

Who can apply for CA articleship at the firm under the New Scheme?

Students who have passed both groups of the CA Intermediate examination and completed the four-week ICITSS (IT and Soft Skills) are eligible to register for the two-year practical training under ICAI’s New Scheme of Education and Training. Carry your Intermediate marksheets and ICITSS completion details when you apply.

Is the articleship stipend paid as per ICAI norms?

Yes. Stipend is paid at not less than the minimum rates prescribed by ICAI under Regulation 48, and is reviewed on performance. The exact amount is confirmed at the interview stage.

I left the CA course midway. Can I still apply for the semi-qualified role?

Yes. The Accounts and Compliance Executive role is a stable, full-time position with a defined growth path — it is meant for CA Inter-passed candidates, including those who have decided not to continue the course. Prior working experience in a CA office is preferred but not mandatory.

Where is the office located and what are the working days?

The office is at Unit No 119, 1st Floor, Centura Square IT Park, SG Barve Road, opp. Lanxess India, Wagle Estate, Thane (W) 400604. The firm works Monday to Saturday; all three roles are in-office.

What should my application email contain?

Send your CV to Somesh@sschandak.com with the subject line “Application – [Role] – [Your Name]”, a short note on why the role fits you, your attempt details (for articleship and fresher applicants), and your availability or notice period. You can also WhatsApp your CV to +91 89468 83420.

What kind of exposure does the firm offer beyond routine compliance?

The practice covers GST, income tax, TDS, ROC and RERA work along with business valuations, Zoho Books implementations, notice replies and practice automation. Team members are staffed across these areas rather than in a single-process silo, and work is reviewed directly by the founder.
