Compliance Calendar FY 2026-27: Build Your Own Date List
Compliance Calendar · FY 2026-27 Tool

Last reviewed: 13 August 2026. Generic compliance calendars fail for a simple reason: half the dates on them are not yours, so the whole list gets ignored — until one date that was yours goes by. This tool builds the opposite: switch on only what applies — GST (monthly or QRMP), TDS, company or LLP, employer obligations, FSSAI, RERA, advance tax — and get a clean FY 2026-27 list of your dates only, printable, with the option of monthly WhatsApp reminders from our desk. Every date is drawn from our maintained guides, including the staggered ITR calendar and the triennial DIR-3 KYC rule.

Five dates that bite hardest this year

  • 31 August 2026 — ITR-3/ITR-4 without audit, under the Finance Act 2026 staggered calendar. The 31 July date for ITR-1/2 has passed; the belated window runs to 31 December with 234F fees.
  • 15 September 2026 — the 45% advance-tax checkpoint; the 234C meter runs on shortfalls.
  • 30 September 2026tax audit report, company AGMs, and the RERA Form 5 CA certificate for FY 2025-26.
  • 30/31 October 2026 — AOC-4 and LLP Form 8, the Q2 TDS statement, audited ITRs, MSME-1 and FSSAI D2 all stack in one fortnight.
  • 31 December 2026 — GSTR-9/9C for FY 2025-26 and the last belated-ITR exit.

How to actually use a calendar (the part nobody does)

  • Assign every date an owner — a date without a name is a wish.
  • Set the internal deadline 5 working days early; reconciliations eat the buffer.
  • Put the annual fees on it too — FSSAI's annual fee now carries a deemed-suspension cliff, and RERA extensions must precede expiry.
  • Review the calendar every quarter — thresholds crossed mid-year (audit, e-invoicing, QRMP eligibility) change your list.

Frequently asked questions

What are the ITR due dates for AY 2026-27?

Under the staggered calendar: 31 July 2026 for ITR-1 and ITR-2 (now passed — the belated window runs to 31 December 2026 with fees under section 234F), 31 August 2026 for ITR-3/ITR-4 filers not liable to tax audit, and 31 October 2026 for audited taxpayers, whose audit report is due 30 September 2026.

What are the monthly GST return dates?

Monthly filers: GSTR-1 by the 11th and GSTR-3B by the 20th of the following month. QRMP taxpayers file quarterly — GSTR-3B by the 22nd of the month after the quarter for Maharashtra, with the optional IFF by the 13th monthly — and composition taxpayers pay quarterly via CMP-08 by the 18th, with the annual GSTR-4 by 30 June.

When must TDS be deposited and returns filed?

Deposit by the 7th of the following month (30 April for March deductions). Quarterly statements fall on 31 July, 31 October, 31 January and 31 May. From FY 2026-27 the statements carry renumbered form numbers under the Income-tax Rules, 2026 — our TDS guides track them.

Is DIR-3 KYC still due every 30 September?

No — it moved to a triennial cycle from FY 2025-26. Directors who completed KYC earlier are next due by 30 June 2028; DINs allotted during FY 2025-26 file first by 30 June 2029; and in any year it applies, the filing goes in by 30 September. Companies should map each director’s cycle once and diarise it.

Which dates apply to a private limited company with no other registrations?

The ROC spine: DPT-3 by 30 June, FLA by 15 July if there is foreign investment, AGM by 30 September, AOC-4 within 30 days of the AGM (typically end-October), MGT-7 within 60 days (typically end-November), MSME-1 half-yearly on 30 April and 31 October — plus TDS, GST and advance-tax dates as applicable to its operations.

Can your firm actually send me the reminders?

Yes — use the WhatsApp button in the tool with your profile selected and our desk sets up monthly reminders for exactly your dates, alongside the compliance calendar we maintain for retainer clients. The tool itself is free to use and print.

A calendar is a start. A system is better.

Our retainer clients get the calendar run FOR them — owners assigned, buffers enforced, filings evidenced. That is what a Virtual CFO desk does all day.
